With a love for of whiskies and bourbons, I disliked the artificial ingredients being infused in the big brand products. Michelle and I began crafting our spirits using only all-natural ingredients. Our vibrant flavors are no accident; everything is handmade. My first experience distilling was in a chemistry lab at the University of Oneonta over 25 years ago and I've been experimenting ever since. By pure luck, I purchased the Waterman family barn back in 2008, and knew one day it would be something special. I was driven to breathe new life into that barn, and open our incredible distillery. Our goal is to share the history of this magnificent hand-hewn structure, while sharing our specialty spirits with those who visit. Growing up in the Finger Lakes Region, amidst the corn fields, beautiful sunsets, glistening lakes, and abundant wineries, I learned to value the simplicity of life. I had no idea meeting my husband Joe, would eventually present me with an opportunity to trade in my administrative background and become a partner in a Farm Distillery. I am thrilled to be part of creating a distinctive experience for our patrons, from the moment they walk into our beautiful 1800's barn, to the first sip of our specialty spirits. As Waterman's flavor designer, I have captured the simplicity of nature in every bottle, developing unique formulas designed to keep customers coming back for more. When I’m not in the distillery, you can find me traveling our beautiful state adding new accounts to our 607 family, and managing our amazingly talented staff. Dream Big!
